Deacon Sharp, of Oregon, spent his career sculpting bronze wildlife and figures. He was known for his amazing patinas and his touch of modern style. He was represented in galleries in the Western half of the U. S. and was a number one seller in Bend's Mockingbird Gallery, which was then owned by Pamela Claflin. Deacon is now retired and enjoys creating paintings on his farm property in Western Oregon.
