Steven Homsher
Steven Homsher was born in 1960 in Doylestown, PA.
At sixteen years of age Steven studied art at the Jacques Fabert Studio in Buckingham, PA. He attended the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and received his four year certificate at 22 years of age, then returned to the Jacques Fabert Studio at 23 for another seven years of study.
Homsher did a six months artists residency program at Fundacio Corbero in Barcelona, Spain in 2002. He instructed Figure Painting and Drawing at the Abington Art Center in Pennsylvania from 1991-1994.
Recent workshop studies from 2006-2013 were with well known artists: Skip Whitcomb, Michael Workman, Jeff Legg, Jake Gaedtke, and John Taft.
As a member of Oil Painters of America and Plein Air Artists of Colorado (PAAC), Steven has participated in shows throughout the state of Colorado and the PAAC juried shows.
